The more we drink, the more we use and abuse drugs. To me, the drug industry is a major part of the problem the world. Why don’t they just stop using it? Why do they make money? That’s what I want to know.
The drug industry is a major part of the problem, but I think we can all agree that the problem isn’t the drug industry per se. It’s the society that we live in, and how we deal with it.
In the past year we’ve heard more and more about the dangers of drug abuse, especially with the use of opioids. Now we’re even hearing about the dangers of using non-prescription drugs. So what does this mean for someone who is abusing drugs? It means that more people are using them. It means that more people are dying. It means that more people are starting to ask themselves what is the purpose of it all.
Because drug abuse is the issue that sparked this entire article, I decided to turn my focus to opioids and the opioid crisis. I began by looking at the history of the drug, from its inception until today. After that I looked to the history of addiction, and how it’s grown since the first drug was introduced. Once these things are separated we can understand how drug addiction is so devastating.
A drug addiction is a chemical addiction. It is the result of a lack of ability to deal with something. A drug addict is unable to handle the craving that they have for the drug. This inability to deal with the craving is the problem with drug addiction. After all we don’t want to handle the craving, we only want to consume it! So drug addiction can be considered a chemical addiction. Unfortunately, a drug addict will take the drug because they are addicted to it.
Because you are addicted to the drug, you will use it to get through your day. But by the time you are done with your morning coffee, you will no longer care about the drug anymore. The effects of the drug will still be there, but they will be more mild and easier to deal with. With the drug addict, you will never know what the hell is going on.
I have a friend who’s an addict. He is a professional musician who has been in and out of treatment for the last 15 years. His drug use has been the root of his problems. He has no idea that the drug is destroying him because he has no idea what is going on. He is unaware of his true state. The only way to get through his day is to just take a hit every now and then.
In his case, you can’t just take a hit every now and then. You have to get a prescription from the doctor and get a prescription for a long term medication. The drugs take away his ability to think and the only way he knows what is going on is he has to make a conscious choice and tell himself what is going on. This is much harder for addicts to do because they don’t have a clear idea what they are doing.
The solution is to add a little dose of acid every now and then, and this is not for the faint of heart. In other words, don’t just take a hit every so often. If you want it to take effect, do it more often.
Just as people are not always aware of their own actions in the first place, people are not always aware of their actions when taking drugs. It is entirely possible for a person to take something for the wrong reason. For example, a person who is taking a drug because of the anxiety it provides can unknowingly become addicted. This is more common with prescription drugs but is still possible with non-prescription drugs.
