I know. I’ve been having a lot of hiccups lately. The doctor finally told me I have covid hiccups, which is also known as the Chinese Restaurant Hiccups. I don’t know why I had them. I know I have a hiccup when I’m eating fried food, but I always thought I just had a bad feeling or a bad attitude.
I thought this was a joke. I am so glad I was wrong. I had a few hiccups in the past, and this was one of the few times that I have caught myself in the act of hiccups. I also had a hiccup about a week ago. I thought I was being serious, but the doctor had me running a fever and sent me to the ER. I dont think the doctor was really concerned.
I agree with you, they are a pretty common thing. It’s annoying. I’m not sure how to solve this one.
Hiccups happen for a variety of reasons. If you’re experiencing one, it’s generally a sign you need more rest, and it’s a good idea to take a cold shower. Hiccups can be caused or aggravated by many things, but it’s a good idea to consult your doctor in the event of one that is severe.
What could be causing a fever like that? If you get an ear infection, you may have a fever. If you suspect the ear or throat has an infection, your doctor may prescribe antibiotics.
We had an ear infection that lasted for about a week, and it was caused by an infection of the ear canal. We were just having a bit of trouble sleeping because of all the earwax, so we took antibiotics and it went away. That was the only time we had any problems with hiccups.
I’ve had a few times when I’ve had hiccups in the past (and I’m a bit of a hypochondriac) that they’ve been quite mild (and I’ve gotten through it). If you suspect you have an ear infection, your doctor may prescribe antibiotics. If not, your doctor may prescribe you an antibiotic to help cure the infection.
Its good to know that ear-wax isn’t a common side effect of the antibiotics that doctors may prescribe.
I know I have had a few times where I have heard my son, who is five, ask me if I was sick, as if he knows I have them. I always tell him, “No. I’m a hypochondriac,” and he just goes on asking.
Like I said, I know people who just make it up and think they have an ear infection when they don’t. It’s a common side effect and should be treated. I wouldnt recommend that anyone take antibiotics if they suspect they have an ear infection, but I wouldnt rule out earwax as a possible side effect of the antibiotics.
