For women, menopause is a time when the system stops producing the hormones that make us feel we are alive. It can be a hard transition for women to go through.
In some cases, menopause is actually a benefit, because it means we can spend more time with our husbands and children. Menopause is actually a negative for men because it reduces sexual arousal.

Menstrual timing is a tricky issue for both men and women. How you go about menstruating is a very personal thing, often tied to cultural and religious beliefs. Some cultures still have beliefs that are very different from the rest of the world. And although there is a general idea that women should be able to menstruate at a certain time, in some cultures, it is still very taboo for women to do so.
There are various reasons why a woman might want to avoid taking off her menstrual period, and one of the primary ones is that it could cause her to be sexually active. As I mentioned in the first paragraph, men don’t menstruate like women do, so if you don’t have sex for a long period of time, you’re likely to get pregnant. It is because of this fact that some cultures encourage women not to take off their period completely.
I am not sure that menopause is a particularly common reason women avoid menstruating. According to the Center for Disease Control, approximately 500,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer each year, and as many as 1 million women die of it. Breast cancer is the third most common cancer in women, and the eighth most common cause of cancer death. So there is no reason to be too worried about it.
When menopause comes on, the hormones go into a “low” phase. This is when you feel like you have all the energy and mental capacity to do things for a while. While this phase is not an entirely pleasant one, it is one of the few times in life when you can actually be yourself.
Snoring is an obvious symptom of this low phase. We feel like we’re not capable of doing things anymore, and we find it difficult to hold down a job or get a decent night’s sleep. This is in stark contrast to the early stages of menopause, when you are more capable of getting things done at a steady pace.
Snoring is a good example of the power that menopause-related brain changes have over our ability to hold a job. We used to be able to hold down a job because we were able to stay awake and focus on something for a long amount of time. Menopause has made us less likeable and more prone to working late into the night, and this can have serious consequences.
Snoring is a symptom of menopause in that menopause is a hormonal imbalance. We can’t sleep at night due to a lack of estrogen in our bodies. We have fewer and fewer hormones (remember, that’s how our brains change with age) and so the brain’s responses to sleep are different.
