This flagellation picture by artist Mike Luttmann is absolutely stunning! He captured the beauty of the animal kingdom with a single picture and it is so powerful.
I’ve always been a fan of flagellation and have been for a long time but I find myself going through phases where I try to avoid it. It can be a bit gross to look at, some people have a hard time understanding and some people have a hard time believing. There is a reason why people sometimes will refuse to go against their own instincts.
A lot of people don’t need to look at it but seeing it can be a big deal. My own history with flagellation made it hard for me to look a the picture. I thought it was a pretty normal thing that I would do. But looking at it made me feel like a freak. I actually started to cry. I have never ever felt that way about anything.
Flagellation is a tradition in many cultures throughout human history, and it has always been viewed as a positive and healthy practice. Now if that isn’t the case for the Jewish people, I don’t know what is. We have to remember that flagellation is a crime. It is a punishment, and a man who performs it is one who has violated a sacred law.
There are three basic types of flagellation; a public, private, and ritual. The public is performed while someone is in the public eye. Public flagellation can be performed with or without the permission of the person being flogged. Public flagellation can include: the hands and feet being cut off, the mouth being cut off, the ears and nose being cut off, and the head being flogged.
Public flagellation is a punishment for something that in some way violates God’s law. In other words, there is a punishment for something that is against God’s law. Public flagellation can be performed with or without the permission of the person being flogged. Public flagellation can include the hands and feet being cut off, the mouth being cut off, the ears and nose being cut off, and the head being flogged.
Although there is no evidence that flagellation was once outlawed, it has become part of the cultural tradition of the Ancient Egyptians. Many Pharaohs performed it to show their power and might.
A few years ago, I was trying to get all the flagellating pictures that are floating around the internet to my front page, which is where you can find this one. As it turns out, this was one of the only pictures that had actually been banned, so I took it down myself. I figured it was a good way to get around the ban, or at least a way to put in a picture that was still a bit funny.
The Egyptians worshipped the god Ra, who was the god of dancing and flagellation. Ra is the same god who was in charge of the great Egyptian civil war in the year 2585 B.C. He is a very powerful god, and we know that the Egyptian army was at its peak during his reign. Therefore, I figured with the exception of this picture of Ra getting flayed, none of those pictures would have been banned.
I’m still in awe at the fact that there are still pictures of this god burning up the Internet, and I’m wondering why this has not been caught before. I have this picture I got from Wikipedia of the year 2585 B.C. and this picture I got from Wikipedia of the year 2115 B.C. Both are cool pictures, but the only one that seems to be banned is the one of the god’s body.
