There is nothing wrong with deep meditation, but I think we are missing out by not getting the benefit of it. Meditation is a way to quiet your mind and to let go of your worries. And that is what my study found, because it is so easy to become stuck in a ‘doing’ mindset and it can take so much focus to have a deep, focused thought. I am a firm believer in the power of meditation to change your mind and your life.

The best way to learn self-awareness is through practice. Just like when you learn to read, you are forced to practice. But the process of practicing is much more difficult. To fully learn, you need to practice for thousands of hours. You don’t need to be a serious meditator to practice meditation. You only need to meditate with someone who is into meditation.
The idea of self-awareness requires us to have a certain amount of awareness. That’s what makes meditation such a hard concept for most people to grasp, even if they feel they have a lot of it. But that’s a different thing from self-awareness. Even if you think you know how to meditate, you can’t really know how to meditate and still achieve self-awareness. There is a big difference.
It seems as though most of the self-awareness we feel is just an inside version of our mind doing something. Our mind is just a really big, clumsy, horrible machine that we use to think and operate. We can know how to use the brain, but we cant really know what our brain is doing. And like all machinery, our brain is going to break down.
The biggest thing that happens when our brain breaks down is that it changes us in some way. We don’t realize how it changes us until we stop thinking and start living again. We think that the difference between self-awareness and self-doubt is that self-awareness means we know we’re not going crazy and we’re not going to kill ourselves.
The problem with this statement is that it assumes that we are always going to be able to go crazy, but that we are never going to go crazy. Self-awareness, on the other hand, is our ability to recognize when we are going crazy (and to prevent it from happening). So if you are going to get good at controlling your thoughts, you have to be able to recognize when your thoughts are going crazy.
