The drug is relatively new to the medical marketplace, but given the widespread availability of the drug—overdose deaths are rare—we should probably start to take some serious precautions if we ever want to see more than a few cases of people overdosing.
Overdose deaths due to the drug quetiapine are extremely rare. Only three reported cases have been announced in the last decade, two of which are the result of intentional overdoses. The other case was a deliberate overdose which is still under investigation.
The good news is that the use of the drug is relatively rare. A review of the literature showed that over a period of 15 years, only eight patients died of drug overdose. The most recent case involved a man in his early 70s who was intoxicated by Quetiapine. He had a severe allergic reaction, and was treated with intubation and mechanical ventilation. The cause of death remains undetermined.
It seems as if Quetiapine is a relatively harmless drug with very few adverse effects. The only bad side effect so far has been an increase in “tardive dyskinesia” (a disorder that causes people to jump up and down in their beds).
The FDA says that overdoses of the drug can result in death, so this is definitely worth the risk. But what’s interesting about quetiapine is how quickly it can cause adverse reactions. It’s a relatively new drug so it has not yet been evaluated in a large enough sample to know what kind of risk it poses. But the FDA does say that it is not a drug for use in humans when it comes to overdose.
But in a small study of patients with the disorder, the researchers found that people taking quetiapine had a higher risk of experiencing side effects such as nausea and vomiting. That is a lot more serious than just having a bad day.
The problem here is that quetiapine can cause a number of unwanted effects, so you might want to think about it before getting on the drug. The most common side effect is nausea and vomiting, which are quite bad. But this can also cause a number of other side effects, including blood clots. As you might imagine, it sucks when that happens and you don’t get better in time.
It’s not a bad idea to be careful when taking quetiapine, though. Because it seems to be a drug that is only known to be effective in the treatment of schizophrenia. This is because the side effects of quetiapine are quite severe and are caused by the drug directly affecting the brain. So its not advisable to take it for a number of reasons.
There are about fifty different ways to overdose on quetiapine, and there is no way to know which one is right for you. Because of the severe side effects, most of us do not take it. The drug is not a first-line drug for treatment of schizophrenia but rather a drug for use as a last resort. Although it is a drug that is only effective in the treatment of the condition, it is still highly effective at treating the side effects of the condition.
One of the side effects of taking quetiapine is that it can cause dizziness, and that is what happened to me. I had to stop myself from falling into the river below. The next day it was still there, but I could see it as it passed me. This is obviously a very bad side effect. I still have no idea how I got through the drug without passing out, but that’s what happened.
