I can’t say I’ve ever had an almond milk stone, but I’ve heard of it, so I won’t get into details about it. But I do know that while almond milk is pretty good for you, it is not a good substitute for fresh, raw, organic, and whole foods.
In a nutshell, almond milk is loaded with sugar, and its high-fructose corn syrup makes it a poor choice to eat. So I can only imagine what it would taste like to have a stone from a bad batch, and if it were an actual physical symptom (sounds like it might be), I would be worried.
Since almonds are a high-glycemic food, I would definitely avoid putting them in my body and instead eat a low-glycemic snack like apples, or other fruits that are high in healthy fiber. Although, as you might expect, apple juice is a very good option. You can also try making some almond butter with nuts, or using almond milk in a smoothie.
