When I’m dealing with a person who is unibrowed, it is the result of self-talk that causes me to think about other things, such as how to best get rid of them. In a way, it’s the most obvious explanation for why I find myself having a pouty face all the time. I can’t see myself doing anything about it, which is why I end up trying to fix it myself.
Unibrowed people are hard to see as different from you and me. They are people who constantly try to tell you that they are not you and that you’re not them or you are not the same as anyone else. They say the same sentence over and over again, such as, “You are not me,” or “I am not the same as you.” They are unable to see themselves as separate from other people.
There are hundreds of people who are born with a bony, unibrow at the base of their skull. This is called a “bifrontal arcus,” and it usually happens when bone fragments from the first two or three layers of the skull break off. Most people who have it never grow out of it. However, there are some that are very rare. A few are born with a permanent bifrontal arcus, and they are very rare.
It’s not clear if unibrows are hereditary or not, but I am pretty sure they are. The most common cause is a head injury from a motor vehicle accident, but there are many others. A side-effect of this condition can be a permanent unibrow and a permanent appearance of a full bifrontal arcus.
My own personal theory is that it is caused by a combination of the aging process. Because we can grow old, we can grow bifrontal arcus and permanent unibrows. Also, I believe that the bifrontal arcus is caused by the brain cells that make up the arcus growing too fast, or perhaps the lack of enough oxygen due to degenerative brain cells.
This condition can also be extremely dangerous. When the arcus is too large, it can cause a “sausage face”, which looks like a skull with a giant bump at the forehead. I have also seen one of these “sausage faces” and it was very disturbing.
The most common cause of this is a tumor called a pituitary adenoma. Pituitary adenomas are slow growing tumors that are located near the pituitary gland and the hypothalamus. When these tumors grow too fast, they can cause the arcus to grow out of control, causing permanent bifrontal arcus. The bifrontal arcus is a permanent condition, and those that grow too fast have to be surgically removed.
There is also a tumor called a sebaceous cyst that can look like a bump, but it is more of a lump that can be seen through the skin. A sebaceous cyst can be removed, but most of the time it won’t heal very well and it is a painful process.
The most common cause of an unibrow is a pituitary tumor, which is usually benign and can be treated with surgery, radiation, or both. The most common cause of a bifrontal arcus is a tumor called a sebaceous cyst. In other cases, the bifrontal arcus can be caused by an underlying condition like diabetes or an infection.
