To be honest, I have not tried a vitamin patch in a while. I suppose I could try to get a prescription filled up, but I don’t really want to be dependent on other people. I am more of a DIY kinda gal, so I am not willing to do that for a long time. I do, however, have some vitamin patches on my kitchen counter. One of them has a list of ingredients and is just a plain ol’ list.
I’ve been using these for about three years now, and I’ve never had an issue. A few of these patches are a bit more expensive, but for the $10-$15 it’s cheaper than buying the generic. And I know exactly what I’m putting on my body.

The other problem is that many people have no idea how they’re supposed to take them. They can be swallowed, but it’s best to dissolve them in water so that it doesnt get into your blood stream.
Vitamin supplements are supposed to be taken in an effort to increase the level of certain chemicals in your blood. However, they can interact with your diet in other ways. For example, too much vitamin C can cause a problem called “chronic fatigue syndrome,” a condition where you become exhausted in the afternoon and are unable to complete the activities of daily living because you’re so tired.
The problem with vitamin C supplements, in my mind, is that once you start supplementing your body with them, you’re only going to be supplementing them for a short time.
Vitamin C is a natural antioxidant so it’s not surprising that it is an important component of a healthy diet. But supplements aren’t magic. In fact, it’s best to limit your exposure to them, especially if you have any kind of autoimmune disease such as multiple sclerosis, Crohn’s disease, lupus, etc. There’s no way to know exactly how much vitamin C a food should have in it to be healthy.
Vitamin C supplements are only effective if you drink water. It’s a good rule of thumb to take a multivitamin and a vitamin C.
You can get a decent amount of vitamin C by drinking water. The problem is that most water is not great, and if you drink water that is high in sugar it will spike your blood sugar levels too high for your body to metabolize properly. The best way to get vitamin C is by taking a vitamin C supplement. As mentioned above, vitamin C is an important component of a healthy diet.
If you’re in doubt about how much Vitamin C you should be taking, don’t worry. Vitamins C and K are both required for Vitamin D production, and the body needs both of them. The best way to get enough is by taking a multivitamin and a vitamin C.
