I have always thought there was a definite difference in how the “70’s” were portrayed in media. So much of our society today is all about “having it all” and having it all together. It is great to know that we still have it in us to do great things and be happy and be a part of something bigger than ourselves. But, it is also good to know that we can be more independent.
I think there is a definite difference, but it’s not just about having it all. It was easy to get lost in the glamour and excess that were part and parcel of the times. It was nice to be part of something bigger, but in reality it was also hard to be part of something bigger.
You can’t just have it all, and the same way you don’t want to become part of the “it” crowd, you don’t want to become part of the “don’t have it all” crowd. There are plenty of “it” people, but there are plenty of “don’t have it all” people, and it’s hard to know which is which. You can get stuck somewhere between the two, and there’s no easy way to get out.
This reminds me of one of my favorite stories, “The Summer House” by H.G. Wells. It took place on a farm in the 70’s, and it was a story about the people at the farm, and how they lived their lives. Well, they were so focused on having it all, they didn’t even notice the other people in the farm were having it.
In the new Deathloop trailer, we can see that its not just the people who have it all, but also the people who aren’t as happy as they would like to be. It’s like, “Hey, we’re just a bunch of people who are miserable. We’ve always been this way. If you could have it all, then you’re definitely not a nice person.
You can be happy, just not all the time. Even if it means having to live a certain way. Thats what makes teens in the 70’s so interesting. Its that they take the middle ground between the extremes, yet theres still a dark side to it.
One of the most interesting aspects of teens today is the fact that they still have the exact same mindset as their 70’s counterparts. Its like the difference between having a job and being a slave. In the 70s, you had to go to school and get your education, get your job, and get your car, and then you could even get a house. It was a lot easier. With teens today, you could just sit and watch. It’s just a lot funnier.
The 70s were a good time in a lot of ways. The 70s was more or less a time of innocence that the world has seen so many times since: the teen years. I remember my mom telling me that she was pregnant with me when I was 15. I remember standing in the yard, watching the grass grow, and feeling like I was in my own garden. That was a lot of fun. And then I got my first job and started getting paid.
The 70s is when you start getting paid. That was a lot different than the early 00s. If you were a regular teenager in the 70s, your parents probably had to pay for your first car (or two), and maybe even a house. The 70s was a time of leisure and rebellion, and it was a great time to start a career. It was also the time when you had the first real chance to get your own apartment.
All that was great, but then the 70s ended. The 70s is gone, and nothing has replaced it. So what does that mean to me? I mean, why is a career a great time to start a career, and a time to start getting paid? The answer is that the 70s ended because of the rise of the “professional male.” The professional male is a term that’s been in use for a few decades now.
