So, I may have found a self-care tool that works for all of us. I have been trying to get back on track with my self-care in the last week or so. Not only did I get out of bed yesterday, I also managed to get myself out of bed for the first time in about four months. I also managed to brush my teeth without any pain.
This is great news. But at the same time, it’s also a reminder that a lot of self-care tools aren’t going to work for everyone. The best self-care tool is one that you are able to use on your own schedule, at your own pace, and that you are able to work at it. It’s the best of both worlds.
