If you’ve been reading my blog or my book review I’ve written about reflexology, you must know that reflexology is the practice of placing your fingers over a specific area of the body, which can be used to relieve tension, ease pain, or boost relaxation. In other words, it’s an ancient form of medicine that has been used for thousands of years.
Well, it seems that a new study has found that reflexology can actually be good for you. Researchers from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign found that the practice of reflexional massage can actually help increase your cardiovascular system’s production of nitric oxide, which is why it has been used to treat cardiovascular disease. The study also revealed that reflexional massage can also improve the function of the blood vessels, which can have a number of benefits when treating atherosclerosis.
Reflexology seems to have a lot of potential for treating cardiovascular disease, but most people that I know who’ve tried it haven’t actually noticed any significant benefits. In fact, a number of people who’ve tried it have had a panic attack.
I had a panic attack when I tried reflexology, but I now think that’s because I was too busy being a heartless bitch to notice. I’ll get more into that in a future post, but for now, I’m just going to say that the benefits of reflexology are probably more than you’d expect, especially if you don’t already have atherosclerosis.
Well, I think that the reason that most people dont notice the benefits is because they are not paying attention to the sensations of their heart. For example, if something is bothering you, you may be more likely to notice it if a person gives you a massage, perhaps even if you are an addict. If you can get to a massage therapist, you have the option to try reflexology too. Personally, I think that reflexology is a better option for people with coronary artery disease.
Reflexology is a medical treatment that uses gentle pressure to stimulate the area of the body that has atherosclerosis (a buildup of plaque). The procedure isn’t about “treating” atherosclerosis. It’s about helping people live longer, healthier lives.
Reflexology is a very popular therapy for those with heart disease, although it is not a cure. However, the benefits of the therapy outweigh any risk of stroke. The heart is very sensitive to pressure and is almost always the first area to respond to massage and the point of maximum stress.
Yes, everyone knows that the heart is the area where we get most of our blood pressure and we can probably all agree that it could use some massaging and pressure. But the reason I say its not a cure is because there are many people who are in dire need of a heart massage and they just can’t get it.
I can’t speak for everyone, but I could say that I know a lot of people who suffer from heart attacks and they are in literally a lot of pain and need a heart massage. That being said, the problem is not so much the massage, but the pain itself. For many people, they are in the middle of nowhere, and the only way to get a massage is by taking a hike in the mountains or on the beach.
The problem is that a heart massage has no connection to the heart. As we were all aware, this is a common misconception, because many heart attack victims don’t realize that their pain is caused by the heart muscle itself.
