I like this point, because a lot of people think that if you are really into fitness, then you should go to a gym, but the truth is that you should go to a gym just to get the workout and not to workout. So, yes, a gym is a good idea, but you should go to a gym just for the workout, not to do cardio. So, I think that is one of the main reasons to get a gym membership.
