There is a reason why recall of these drugs has been a major concern for the past decade. In addition to the fact that these drugs are widely used and abused, they also contain compounds that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has found pose serious risks to the human body.
The drug levothyroxine has been widely prescribed for many years, and is used in a myriad of medical conditions, including weight loss, depression, and fatigue. The drug is used to treat conditions of the thyroid gland; but because it is taken by mouth, people who are not in regular need take it on a daily basis.
Not only does levothyroxine have the possibility of being abused, but also the risk of being abused is quite high since people who take it are also encouraged to keep taking it. The FDA has said that the drug is safe enough to be used as directed. But as any drug addict knows, they only use it if they can get their hands on the good stuff, so to avoid getting caught, the drug is sold in pill capsules.
This is a great example of how our society is moving from voluntary to coerced doses. The fact that this drug can be abused in a large number of ways is a big worry for the FDA.
But the FDA can’t do anything about it, as they have no control over the pill capsules. It’s up to the individual doctor if they use the drug and how much they take. They can only be stopped for good if they get caught and lose their license to practice medicine.
Levothyroxine is a thyroid hormone that is prescribed to patients with hypothyroidism. The drug is used to treat those with the condition. I personally have been on it for a very long time, about ten years. It wasn’t until a few years ago that it started to make me feel better.
Well that depends on how you feel about it. A few years ago, I was on it for four months. I have been taking it off and on since then and am now off. I hope that makes sense.
I started taking levothyroxine about a year after I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism due to low thyroid function. I went off it for the last few months of 2013.
In March of 2013, I was off it for about three months, and was on it for about six to eight months from that. I was off it for about six weeks in January of 2014, I was off it for about three weeks in July of 2014. I then went off it for a month in May of 2015, and was on it for about six months in March of 2016.
What we’re seeing in these records is that levothyroxine levels began to slowly rise in March of 2017, and then rose in 2017, and then began to steadily rise again in 2018.
