I had a kidney transplant last year. I am a hemodialysis patient myself. You’d be surprised to know that some people do better with dialysis than others. My friends and family members are all very supportive of my recovery. For me, dialysis is a struggle. I usually have to wake up at 5:30am to get dialyzed. I’ve had to stop going to the gym for about a year so I can be dialyzed.
If youre going to do dialysis, you have to be willing to do it all of the time. The best thing about dialysis is that it allows you to avoid doing “all the time.” No matter how much you want to go, you have to come back to the dialysis center if you want to go. That means that sometimes you have to call in and ask to go again.
Yes, dialysis is a very serious thing, and yes, it can be very frustrating. But it can also be a lot of fun and rewarding. I remember when I started going to dialysis, I would constantly be in the hospital, and I would have to get a blood transfusion every couple of days. That was the first time I really learned to live with an illness. I had a lot of fun doing it.
The first time I ever got dialyzed was in high school. I was a senior and was sick with a urinary tract infection. The nurse told me I had to go to the dialysis center and get dialysed again. It took a couple of hours because the meds made me feel like shit and I was scared I would piss out of my own blood, but at the end of the day, I was dialysed in one go and I passed out.
I’d had a couple of previous kidney transplants and so one of my kidneys was functioning well, but the other was acting up a little. I wasn’t comfortable with it because I didn’t know what to expect and all I knew was that the meds made my skin crawl and my chest hurt.
It was kind of weird to have to go through that process too. I had to get on it within a couple of hours of my first dialysis, but I wasnt there for the whole thing, and so I had to go through it again at the end. Id say I felt a bit guilty about it too. We are used to getting stuff like that.
I have to admit, I am a little worried about the process. It can take up to 48 hours after dialysis to completely recover (which is why they said that they were giving me two weeks to recover). There is a pretty good chance that the effects of dialysis are permanent, but you can use a drug called interferon or glatiramer, or other types of treatment to mitigate the effects of the dialysis.
The best thing about dialysis is that it doesn’t really effect our bodies in a negative way, it simply gives energy back to the body, but it is still a little scary knowing it may not be a permanent cure.
The only thing that really works is dialysis, so you can get through the treatment and go back to normal life. But it can take a whole bunch of time and it’s not a cure. It can also make you feel like you’re dying (like a fever), so you really need to be careful when you are dialyzing.
Before we get into the pros and cons of dialysis, I want to point out a few facts about dialysis. Dialysis is the process of removing waste from your body. It is also the process of “re-purposing” your waste into different building materials, and is the process of removing toxins from your body. Dialysis is a very slow process, which means it takes a lot of time and energy.
