Since I am always up for a good story, I thought I would share with you some funimation news from some of my favorite sources.
Funimation recently announced that it will be releasing a new anime that’s based on the popular manga ‘Kirei no Kaiketsu’ (Kirei no Kyojin) by Kei Soh, a young Japanese child who has powers.
The anime is called Death Note, and will be directed by Shinichi Sekine, a famous director of anime such as Naruto, Bleach, and the Sailor Moon series. Sekine will be collaborating with Takuto Yoshida, the creative director of anime television series such as High School DxD and Gintama, and the game design studio Tosev. Funimation has been in the game business since 2003, so we knew that they had a strong track record in this genre.
Funimation is just one of the many streaming companies on the market. They are the first to have a streaming service dedicated to anime. They have a growing library of anime to choose from, and the new Death Note game will be available for free on the service. On top of that they have a great site for the anime buffs. Funimation is known for producing their own shows, with a great line up and a great fan base.
I have no doubt that they will continue to produce excellent anime shows for many years to come. For now, however, we were able to get our hands on the new Death Note game. For the uninitiated, Death Note is a series by the late, great writer and director for the manga/anime “Death Note”.
What I have to say about this one is very similar to the first. However, there are a few new things that I find interesting, including a new art style. This game is based on the “noir” style of animation used by the famous film director and artist, Akira Kurosawa. The game is set in Tokyo, Tokyo, and on the moon.
Death Note is a series that seems to be one of the most popular, if not THE most popular, in Japan. After all, it’s a manga that has sold over 100 million copies in its original series. The new game is set in the same universe, but is a spin-off. While the story is the same, it still takes place in Tokyo, but it is set on the moon.
While I can’t say this game is going to be as popular as the original, I do hope it will come out at the same time. If not, I’m sure the game will be a huge hit. Even though the game will take place on the moon, I also don’t think it will be as dark as the original, as the setting is still based on Tokyo.

Funimation announced this morning that the anime series “Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang” is currently in pre-production for a new anime based on the manga. The anime will be based on the manga by Osamu Tezuka and Shinsuke Ohba and was recently released in North America. Funimation will be releasing the new anime in Japan in a few weeks.
