What I mean by dominant negative is that it is the thought that has been running through your head for the most part, because that is what you were taught to think about the world, how you relate to others, and what your life goals are.
For example, if I were to try to remember the dominant negative I had about my life, it might be that I felt I had no value, that I was worthless, that I was stupid, that I didn’t know how to live and that I didn’t know how to love.
The dominant negative is the thing that you may have internalized that is causing you to feel that way, but you’re not even aware of it. Many people with depression also have dominant negative thoughts. This is why they often have trouble sleeping because of their anxiety, and they also can be afraid and tense. They may think they are worthless and stupid, and they do not feel they have a place in the world. They may even think that they are crazy.
We all probably have thoughts like that. The dominant negative in depression is often the belief that you are worthless and stupid. That’s why you can’t sleep, and you may also be afraid and tense. This is because you have internalized the dominant negative thoughts, which make you feel like you have no worth.
That is why we do not let ourselves think, “I am worthless and stupid.” We also learn to control the dominant negative thoughts we have and change the dominant negative thoughts we have in our heads into positive thoughts. A person who is depressed cannot get rid of thoughts of being worthless and stupid. It doesnt matter if they are in the middle of the day at work, or even if they are in the midst of a crisis.
In our study of depression we found that the dominant negative thoughts are often linked to stress and that by calming these thoughts we can get rid of them.

I know one way that jealousy can manifest is people feeling like their life is complete without the person they are jealous of. For instance, they may feel that they are at a complete loss for everything and their life is at a complete standstill because they cant do anything to change it. We feel like we have to do everything to make our lives good, to make it perfect. We just cant change the fact that we cant do it ourselves.
