I’m still here and so you can see my post on breaking news. I’ve been away at a conference and my phone is ringing off the hook.
I’ve been away from my PC, so I have no idea what’s going on there. Fire trucks are being sent to the site, but apparently there are no injuries, just a fire. The site is being evacuated, and is being used to store and repair equipment. The building was condemned and is being brought to the owner. One of the firemen told me that the fire was apparently started by a faulty fuel cell. The fire was reported at 4:20 PM.
There is no word on the reason for the fire yet. The site itself has been abandoned, so I’m assuming that the fire was the result of faulty equipment.
We’re not sure if the site was set on fire intentionally or not, but the fire was reported at 420 PM. There is no word on the reason for the fire yet. The site itself has been abandoned, so Im assuming that the fire was the result of faulty equipment.
The fire is still under investigation, there are no indications that it was the result of a deliberate sabotage or arson, and the cause is unknown. We’ll update the story as we find out, but I’m hoping to see some kind of progress in the weeks and months to come.
The site itself has been abandoned so we dont know if the fire was intentional or not. The site was set on fire by someone claiming to be the manager, but was abandoned hours later. The owner was reported to be in the hospital with a possible concussion.
Detloffight.com has been on fire for at least 20 minutes now, and was in flames when we arrived. The owner did not want us to come close to the site because he thought it was suspicious and that he might be able to help with the investigation. The owner was reported to be in stable condition at a local hospital.
The site owner’s name is the same as the guy who reported our car stolen earlier this month. This morning, the owner called to report that he had discovered that his computer had been hacked and was trying to restore his domain. He was hoping to get some answers about the incident from us, so we asked if he had a link to the site. He said nothing. We did ask if he had any information about the investigation of the fire.
The investigation of the fire is still ongoing, so I don’t know what information we would have at this point. However, the site owner did tell us that he had discovered that a website linked to the car theft was down. That site had been hacked and was the last place that anyone was getting the information on the car.
The site owner has said that the hack took place on the same day the car was reported stolen, so it’s possible that the hack was a response to the theft. This would be a very surprising move on the hacker’s part considering that the car had been stolen on the same day as the hack. We’re not sure what information was leaked though and the site owner said that the hacker also has no idea who might have leaked the information.
