The more processed your food, the less healthy it is, and the more sick it makes you feel. The same thing happens to drugs too, it’s not just the taste that is affected.
Just because you have a particular food in your diet doesn’t mean you have to eat it. A study of 200 people aged 18-25 found that people who ate processed foods at least 2 days per week had a significantly higher body fat percentage than those who ate a typical American diet. So it seems you can’t be a good American without consuming processed foods. It’s like that study saying, “eat more chocolate.
I have a personal anecdote. I had a couple of drinks that night and my wife was a bit unhappy with me. She said I was too drunk to drive home, but I knew that I had to be home for dinner.
