If I am going to be in the midst of a stressful situation, I’d rather be in a state of heightened awareness. Anxiety is when we are anxious, and it is a good thing to keep in mind.

We get so nervous that we can’t sleep. We can’t stop worrying about our problems. We can’t stop worrying that if we do something, something bad will happen. This is why we can’t focus on things that we’re interested in.
