My mother had an Alzheimer’s diagnosis last year. Her memory was severely affected and it was only a matter of time before she was no longer able to perform the day-to-day activities. She now only remembers some of what she used to do. This is why I like to keep myself engaged and active. I find it helps to challenge myself and my abilities so that I can be more productive and efficient.
To be honest, I don’t know what my mother’s future holds for me. I do know that I will always have a passion for what I do and what I love doing. I just hope that I’m not living in a permanent vegetative state.
I feel like I’m living in a permanent vegetative state right now. My life has become a bit of a blur lately. I see my parents more now than I did before, and have even been contacted by people I had never spoken to before. I can’t really remember what my childhood holds for me, and it pains me to think I’ll never know.

I am so lucky to be living my life and have a family that I love and cherish, and I know that no matter what happens, Ill always be able to count on my parents. They were there for me through all of life’s highs and lows, and will always be there for me when I need them the most. They are the best parents a child could ask for.
We all have our own experiences that could become our biggest nightmare, and the only thing we can do about it is try to manage our own fears. But the thing we can do is try to make the next phase of our lives a happier, more fulfilled version of the first one. And that is by managing yourself. There’s a lot of advice about managing your emotions and your actions in the last chapter, but this is the most important part: Learn to manage your actions.
So if you have depression, anxiety, or worry about a future event that you cannot control, then that’s what you need to be managing. The same is true if you’re stressed about a job or a relationship. If you are too anxious about what is going to happen in the next day, then you may need to change that. If you are too stressed about what your son or daughter is going to do or say, then you may need to change that.
If its too bad you can’t control the situation, then try not to be too stressed about it. If the stress is caused by you, then that may be a sign of over-reacting. If it’s caused by another person, then the person is the one with the problem. So the key is to be calm about it and think about what you need to do to manage it.
