The runner’s mindset is to finish what they started with the same intensity they started it with. If they start out at a high intensity, they’ll end at the same intensity. When you start out at a low intensity, you’ll end at the same low intensity.
This is why the runners, as a group, tend to do better in the morning and the evening. If you start at a low intensity, it’s hard to stay at the same intensity from day to day.
It’s possible that the runners are actually slower in the evening, as their ability to adjust their metabolism is more limited. At the same time, this is part of the reason the runners prefer to swim in the morning rather than at night. They have a limit to the amount of energy they can process. So during the day, they’re able to swim at a higher intensity and thus have a greater chance to finish with a high intensity.
At night, the runners have a much slower metabolism rate. So on top of feeling a bit sluggish, they tend to have a harder time staying in the same state of intensity for a long time.
It appears that runners can’t stay daylight shrink for very long. While this is a limitation that can be mitigated with practice, it can also increase the risk of injury while walking in the dark.
But the runner in the scene in the trailer that we saw is so pale, it could be a good thing. The team says they’re planning on doing this in the future, which will allow runners that are in the daylight to better conserve energy. This can really help with fitness and overall health.
In the trailer, you see a runner who can stay in daylight shrink. But here’s the kicker – with the sunlight being so bright, there’s the possibility the runner will turn on the light and get a bit more aggressive. If you can’t see the light, it might be a good idea to move to a new location while in daylight.
Well, the good thing about an energy saving is you can buy your own flashlight.
I think it would be cool if you could buy your own flashlight (or plug it in and be like a runner). Theres the potential to be a very cool effect. But that is only half the story. The other half is that you can buy a flashlight that can be triggered by running outdoors (like a runner). With that, you can be like a runner and save a bit of energy by running outside.
This idea is not new. The idea was already used in the video game, Super Runner. But the concept can be used in many other ways. Not just using your flashlight as a runner, but running outdoors like a runner. I’m sure you can think of others. Maybe you can turn your flashlight on mid-run and run off to the store to buy a couple of energy saving batteries.
