I’ve been having shingles for several years now, and I’m still waiting for a diagnosis, but I am happy to report that it’s more than treatable. I am an autoimmune sufferer, which means that my body is reacting to something. I had a shingles rash on my neck for years before I started taking immune support. It’s not a pleasant experience, but it comes with the territory.
The good news is that the rash on my neck was caused by a virus. Ive been on the immune support for about 2 months now, and it has been a great relief. Its still there, and I still have the occasional “shivering,” but it has not progressed to the point where I can’t sleep at night. Im not trying to scare you or anything, but its a relief to not feel the virus in my body.
The rash on my neck was caused by a virus called shingles. It is a rare autoimmune disease that can be triggered by a virus, chemicals, or the environment. It is usually caught between ages 35-44, but the rash can occur at any age. The most common symptoms are redness and tenderness on the skin, accompanied by fever, fatigue, and general malaise.
The first symptoms of shingles are usually the same as they happen in the rash. These appear as a small vesicle in the skin that disappears quickly. Usually, this happens around the size of an egg. It is not possible for the vesicle to be removed with a physical treatment.
The rash is not contagious. However, the same chemicals that cause the rash can cause the rash to appear on other parts of the body. For example, the rash can appear on the eyelids, hands, feet, or genitals. It is not possible for the rash to be caught in a blood test.
The rash itself is an autoimmune disease caused by the fact that the immune system attacks those parts of our body that are responsible for protecting it. Autoimmune diseases include several very different diseases, but in the case of shingles there are two: one causes the vesicles to appear, and the other causes the rash itself to appear. We can learn a lot about the immune system from the fact that it attacks those parts of our bodies that it doesn’t normally attack.
The good news is shingles has an 80% cure rate. That’s great news, but the bad news is that it can take many years for the vesicles to appear and the rash to appear. While the rash can cause a great deal of pain in extreme cases, in less extreme cases it can be very mild.
What is shingles? Shingles is a type of skin rash that occurs on the face, back, buttocks, and/or extremities. It begins as small red bumps, then spreads into a rash. Then the rash starts to become larger and it becomes itchy. It usually starts in one spot on the body, but it can appear anywhere. It can be extremely painful, and it can be very disfiguring.
In the case of shingles, the rash is not contagious. In a healthy person, the rash will not become large enough to infect another person. It’s not an allergic reaction either, because nothing in shingles is an allergen.
Shigellosis is the most common form of shingles found in the US. It is an autoimmune disease that causes the body to attack itself. Some people have shingles because of an unknown virus, but the most commonly accepted cause is the shingles virus, which is a type of virus.
