I actually think if you have a large enough fan base (perhaps even the majority of the fans in your own city) you would probably be willing to pay for a NFL Network, not just because of the commercials, but also because all of the commercials are usually pretty good. The commercials for the NFL Network are usually better in my opinion. I think the reason the NFL Network isnt in the top five of cable networks is because the quality of their commercials are lower than the NFL Network.
There is a difference between the quality of commercials for the NFL Network and the quality of commercials for the NFL, because the NFL Network has a lot of commercials that are better. The NFL Network has a lot of commercials that are just plain crappy, and the commercials for the NFL Network are usually pretty decent. I think its more the quality of the commercials on the NFL Network that make it so popular, not just the commercials.

Of course, they don’t get to shoot out as many commercials as the NFL Network, but they have to shoot out as many commercials as any other network. So that makes the difference. My only complaint is that the NFL Network ad on Sunday is just plain awful.
