For some, it’s just a matter of getting an idea of where you rank relative to other homebuyers in the neighborhood. For others, a ranking can help them decide whether to make an offer. For the vast majority, it’s a matter of ranking, which is why we have a number of ranking tools to help you figure that out.
Ranking tools are a way for me to give you a quick and dirty ranking of homes for sale in each of our neighborhoods.
I don’t think it is a good idea to rank homes on the basis of proximity to restaurants, shopping centers, or schools. Many people (ourselves included) get into neighborhoods so they can’t afford to live in them, and a ranking would certainly be a way to help them figure out whether to make an offer. We also use ranking tools to help our agents get a leg up on other real estate agents and buyers in our area.
In some cases, the best way to get your home in front of the right people is to simply ask them to list it under their real estate listings. It is a little risky in some cases, because people may be more likely to list your home if they think you will be able to negotiate a better deal. But in most cases, it will work out just fine.
But there are other ways to get your home in front of the right people, too. For example, if you know someone who is looking for a place to live in your area you can simply ask them to drop by and tell them more about you, what you’re looking for in a place, and your hopes for things to come.
While this is pretty obvious when you talk to someone, it’s actually a little harder to pull off in real life. You have to get the person to talk on the phone, or you can do it with a visit in person, but a lot of people are more likely to be willing to help you if you present them with a better offer.
There are all sorts of ways to get your asker to give you a better offer. One is to present them with a price that makes them think youre looking at a deal. And the other way is to have a look around, but also tell them that you have a better offer. Either way makes you look very sincere, which is something that is going to go a long way in getting your best offer.
We’ve found that when you present a lower offer, your asker will often accept it, in exchange for a promise that you will make them a better offer the next time. If you can do that, you can get the best offers anywhere in the country.
The same dynamic applies to real estate. When you are looking for a home, a good way to get your best offer is to present the best offer that you can, and to make it sound like you are serious about it. That way they will be more likely to accept your offer, and your best offers will go further.
You might already be familiar with that strategy, and why it’s so effective. It is the same strategy that we use to get the best offers for our listings. For the most part, we don’t care about the “offer” part of it because we are only looking for a home to live in and pay the down payment and closing costs. A good negotiator is a good negotiator, and a good negotiator knows how to present a good offer.
