For the first time since August 2017, the United States Air Force has put a woman on duty to fly an F-35 fighter jet on combat missions. The first woman to fly in combat, Lt. Col. Amy Loh, will fly missions in support of Air Force operations in the Middle East.
Loh has been flying in combat since 2015, so she’s already got a lot of experience with the F-35. If you’re a fan of the F-35 and think combat missions would be a blast, I think you’ll like Loh.
The Air Force is currently using the F-35 for training, but Loh may be putting her F-35 skills to use in the air. She will be flying in the Middle East to train with the F-35s for the Air Force. For those of you who aren’t in the know, the F-35 has been a pretty big deal since it was first introduced to the public.
Loh seems to be one of those rare people who just knows what shes doing. When the Air Force was looking for a new F-35 pilot, they were looking for a pilot who could fly and shoot. Loh has that ability and her combat capabilities are only going to get better.
Well, not to be a total buzz kill about this, but just FYI, it looks like Loh will be getting her F-16, the same F-35 that’s in the background of the trailer. That’s all I’m going to say.
The F-16 is pretty cool. Just look at all that stealth.
As it turns out, Loh is not the first human to get her own F-16. As a member of the Air Force and the military, Loh has the freedom to upgrade her aircraft at any time, whether it’s a fighter, a bomber, a missile, or something else. Her aircraft is also not just the same F-35 that’s in the background of the trailer, but a completely different piece of equipment, too.
The F-16 is the most common vehicle type in the U.S.
The thing about the F-16 is that it is an aircraft that is built to kill people. That’s how the military is trained to do their job. The F-35 is more of a tank, but it has a much higher kill-rate. Most of us know that.
And the F-35 is also a very new piece of tech. It was just introduced back in 2010, and is not what its predecessor was. The F-35 was developed with the goal of making it cheaper than the F-16. There was a lot of focus put on reducing development costs, but it is still a heavy and expensive piece of equipment for the U.S. military.
