There are three levels of self-awareness. One is the conscious awareness of our awareness, and the other two are the unconscious levels of awareness that are not fully aware of.
Let’s back up for a second and talk about the conscious awareness of awareness. We can define this as not being fully aware of the things we do, the thoughts we think, and the emotions we feel, but there’s a lot more to it than that. Our conscious awareness is the level of awareness that we have when we are aware of ourselves, of other people around us.
Thats the good news. The bad news is that in order to access your conscious awareness, you must be fully aware of yourself, of the people around you, and the thoughts going on in your mind. The only way to access your conscious awareness is through the unconscious or subconscious levels of awareness.
This means you are probably going to be aware of your thoughts but not of your thoughts. When you are fully aware, you are simply aware that you are aware. If you are not fully aware, you are unaware. So no matter if you’ve been awake for four hours or if you have been awake for two years, you’re still fully aware of yourself, and you’ve just been dreaming.
This is a very basic idea, but it is a very common one among people who are suffering from mental illness. They are unaware of their thoughts and of the thoughts of those around them, and they are therefore unaware of themselves. Many people who suffer from schizophrenia suffer from the same problem. In fact, schizophrenia is often a symptom of a deeper problem in our minds. People who suffer from schizophrenia have a problem with the idea that they are people.
In these people, the idea that they are people is so deeply ingrained that they ignore that idea, and that is why they suffer from schizophrenia. In fact, the idea of being a person in the first place can actually be a very dangerous thing because it creates a false sense of security that is often very detrimental to a person’s mental health.
The idea of being a person is a huge part of who we are, and if that idea is so deeply ingrained that we ignore it, we can end up feeling like a total failure. If something is deeply ingrained in us that makes us feel worthless, then it’s almost certainly going to leave us feeling like a failure.
Sure enough, being a person isn’t just a bunch of physical stuff, it’s also a bunch of very complex mental stuff. An idea that has been so deeply ingrained in us for so long that it feels like the most obvious thing in the world is to do something about it. We tend to believe that the most obvious thing to do is to just do nothing.
I always think its more of a matter of what we’re willing to do rather than what we’re willing to do. At the very least, we have to be willing to take an active role in the solution. The idea that we can just do nothing is very defeatist.
The good news is that there is a lot of hard work ahead of us to make sure our actions are actually helpful. There are a lot of people who are willing to do a lot of the work, and the more people who do the work, the more likely we are to be able to be really effective. While we have to be willing to take the time to do the work, we don’t have to be willing to do all the work.
