I’m a self-help guy, so I have the best of both worlds for my clients. I help them get started with the right mindset, but I also help them learn how to be more aware and self-aware, and they tend to fall into the habit of looking at themselves and their life through the eyes of their mind.
Self-awareness can often become a bit of a problem when it comes to motivation, which is why helping my clients find it can become one of the most important parts of my work.
It all starts when you start noticing yourself behaving in ways that you didn’t think were possible. And then you have to start taking notice of your reactions. You may think that after a few months of just being able to sleep, or not being so excited about school, you’ll find yourself able to put all that stuff behind you.
Well, I say can become a problem because it could be that you need to look at your behavior a few times a day. That is, you could be noticing that you were over-stimulating yourself. Or, you could be noticing that you were too depressed. Or, you could be noticing that you were too stressed. You need to make sure you’re conscious of how you feel, what you’re doing, and how you’re feeling in the moment.
So is that a good thing or a bad thing? How do you know? Well, it depends on yourself. If you were like me and you were constantly over-stimulated and over-stimulated and over-stressed then you probably wouldn’t be too excited about school. But if you were like me and you were constantly under-dressed and under-dressed and under-stressed then you probably would be excited about school.
There’s a lot of advice on this site about how to make sure you’re comfortable with your present state of mind. Most of it is good advice, but I think that the best advice is to be constantly aware of how you feel, what you’re doing, and how you’re feeling in the moment.
For most people going into school, there’s a sort of comfort zone. They believe that if they’re not wearing a dress they’re going to get in trouble for being late, or if they’re wearing jeans and a t-shirt their chances of being asked a question are high. And, of course, it may seem that way, but that’s because if you’re not wearing a dress or jeans and a t-shirt then there’s no way to tell if you’ve said anything wrong.
That said, sometimes you just aren’t ready for the moment. For instance, you might feel like youre doing something wrong, like maybe youre not wearing a dress or jeans and a t-shirt, or maybe youre wearing jeans and a t-shirt and you know that if you just get them a little bit looser youre going to be able to show off your cleavage even more.
The other thing you can do is to try and remember that the person youre talking to might be the same person who said something youre unsure. So if theres a person named patrick say hi. If theres a person named patrick say something about a book. So that will allow you to check out their intent before you have to make a judgement.
There are a number of different ways to check on intent from the other person. The easiest is through the eyes. If they look right then they are likely to be talking about something that interests you. You can also ask them questions that would be of use to them.
