We talked about the different forms of self-awareness. I talked about self-awareness as awareness of our own emotions (which is a basic form of self-awareness). I talked about self-awareness as awareness of our own beliefs or the way we perceive the world. Then I talked about self-awareness as awareness of our own mental state or how we think about the world around us.
I didn’t talk about self-awareness as awareness of our own emotions because I think that’s a different topic, but I’ll talk about that topic when I do my interview with our co-founder and CEO, Mike Hearn, in a bit later.

The trick is to know what youre feeling. To know when it is important to talk about your feelings to others. When it is appropriate to say what you are feeling. There are times when we all need a little help from others in order to be completely ourselves.
That’s why I believe there is something wrong with the way we talk to each other. We say things all the time without ever bothering to think about what they mean. I get the feeling that we are all talking to ourselves. Most of the time what we say just sounds like a bunch of random words. We make it sound like we know what were talking about.
