I get asked a lot by friends and family about the different types of news, like why there are so many different types of news. For me, a news that is a change in an event that usually happens on the same day, is interesting news. I think this is because of our brains are not yet fully aware of the difference between events and when and how to categorize new and old events.
The other interesting news, which I think is related to our first point, is that we are now capable of “seeing” the future. We can tell if an event is going to happen at a certain time. For example, we can tell if there is going to be an earthquake or a tsunami or an ice-age storm. We can tell if there is going to be a new technology, such as the ability to view the future.
I have to say that I’ve always been the guy that thought the future was a giant computer game and I have been very disappointed by it. After I was born, I noticed that every time my father or mother would bring up a topic, I would just blank out.
You can also tell if things are going to happen because they don’t actually happen. If I put my hand on my chest, and my chest is right next to my mouth, I can feel the heartbeat. If my hand is on my mouth, and my face is up against my chest, I can feel the breath. If my hand is on my face, and my eyes are closed, I can feel the air moving through my nose.
This is a rather old idea (like the idea that you can tell if things will happen because it doesnt happen) that has been explored before by some groups who have had to take care of children on a regular basis. But the modern day version of the idea has been more popular recently because it allows individuals to easily monitor their own health and wellbeing.
