This article (asena news) by Gaurav Srivastava may be a bit of a controversial one, but I really enjoyed it for some of the reasons he has listed. I had a similar, but slightly different, reaction to a similar article on my blog.
Gaurav Srivastava is the founder of Asena, a blog about gaming, tech, and the media industry.
On the surface, Gaurav’s article seems to be a bit of a rant about the gaming culture and his own experiences with it. But I think it’s actually a thoughtful analysis of the gaming industry in general. He covers the ways it has changed gaming in the past decade and how it has evolved over time, which is important because it’s not just about the future of gaming.
Gauravs point is that gaming culture has changed a lot in the past decade. It’s not so much that there’s “more gaming” as there’s “more people making games”. The reason this is important is not because there’s more gaming or more gamers, but because we are more dependent on gaming culture than ever. When I was a kid, I used to play games for hours at a time just because it was fun.
This is the same reason you can’t stop and think of something new, all you can think about is the present. When I was growing up, I used to play games for hours at a time just because it was fun. I was really into video games because I was a nerd, and I used to play Call of Duty in the late 90s and early 2000s. I used to spend hours playing games because that is how I got into gaming.
I used to play video games because I loved the idea of being a part of a group that was a collective of gamers. The whole reason I did certain things in games was because I wanted a feeling of togetherness where you could feel like you were one with something. I used to play video games because it was fun and because I could play with other people that I liked. It was just a hobby that I enjoyed.
The problem was that I was always playing the same thing. I was playing Halo, then I was playing Gears of War, then I was playing Starcraft, and then I was playing Doom. I lost interest in gaming because I was playing a game every single day for a long period of time and then I would play something else. That was a problem because I had to constantly find something to play. I was stuck in a loop where I had to play the same game over and over.
This isn’t to say that no one can ever find their niche. There are tons of different genres out there to explore, and many of them will always be just a little bit different from what anyone else is playing. But as a general rule, that doesn’t mean that if someone likes your genre, you can’t enjoy it. If you want to play the same thing over and over again, you can’t be the only person who likes that.
I think this is one of those situations where a single player game is really helpful, as a single player game can really take you out of the loop. If you want to experience the same thing over and over, play a single player game. If you want to experience something different over and over, play a single player game. It will help you keep both perspectives in your head.
This is not a bad thing though. I love single player games, and I do a lot of them myself. I love the idea of having a story and having a story that’s bigger than the player, which is why I enjoy playing asena. But this is also why I enjoy playing single player games, so I don’t feel like I’m missing out on something.
